ALMOTAHAJIBA and Ing. Loro Piana Unveil Exclusive Resort 2024 Collection: A Masterpiece of Sustainable Luxury
ALMOTAHAJIBA, a leading Qatari luxury fashion brand known for abayas and modest wear, has partnered with renowned Italian textile house Ing. Loro Piana to launch the Resort 2024 Collection. This exclusive collection is ALMOTAHAJIBA's first foray into collaborative womenswear.
The collection is inspired by the stunning landscapes of the Middle East and the tranquility of summer, a blend of traditional silhouettes with contemporary designs. "We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with Ing. Loro Piana," said Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Siddiqi, COO of Al Siddiqi Holding. "This collaboration marks a significant milestone for ALMOTAHAJIBA, reflecting our commitment to providing luxury and innovative designs," he said.
The collection debuted in a gallery reminiscent of the Italian countryside at an invitation-only event on June 1, 2024. The event emphasized sustainability, using leftover fabric for invitations and table napkins. Guests experienced the collection's wearable art, crafted from Ing. Loro Piana's world-renowned fabrics, including linens, Cash Pima, silks, and sustainable materials.
The designs feature clean lines, sharp tailoring, and subtle details, catering to various preferences and occasions. The color palette mirrors the Middle Eastern landscape with earthy tones, soft pastels, and vibrant accents. The collection is available at select ALMOTAHAJIBA boutiques across Qatar, including Villaggio Mall, Place Vendôme Mall, Landmark Mall, and from August 2024 at Doha Festival City. This collaboration sets the stage for a progressive relationship, with future collections already in discussion.
